Default water pressure issue

Is it possible that I could blow a hole in one of my water hoses if I have too much water pressure?? I have no water in oil or any other issues. I am just curious because as soon as I replaced the seawater pump, I blew a hole in a hose that goes from the p/s cooler to the fuel cooler.

Thanks,

Smitty

Ok ill bite.

I would say if you had a restriction you could build enough pressure to blow a weak hose.

Do you run w/p gauges?
Are you running crosovers or water pumps?
Are you running t-stats?
What type of exhaust?

I like w/p gauges on all engines really takes the
guess work out of it.

Most likley a weak hose. Run it again.
You could even put a mechanical pressure gauge
just as a temporary monitor.

Never heard of that one happening, unless you have a restriction up stream thats backing up the pressure. Just a question. Not sure if you have any broken rubber off your old impeller in there?
