Default Replace Dip Stick?

I just had the top of the dip stick break off. The yellow knob was in the bilge today. Now, I have to find a way to pull the stick from the tube. Does anyone have replacements for these? They were originally 502 mpi's. Thanks.

You may have to unbolt it from the block and pull the sleeve out to retrieve it. Then just measure or get a new one.

I just had the same thing happen to me. I used a dentist pick, like a small awl to retrieve the dip stick out of the tube. Then I ordered one from Stem to Stern,I think 18.00. It looks worse then it is,good luck.

I pulled the darn thing out with a sissors! Are there different tops to the sticks? I'd like to try have the tops match the engine compartment - at least not those with the yellow tops. Thanks.

Stick a cork in it and use your other one to check it! LOL!

The whole tube usually pulls right out of the pan. Just use some RTV Silicone when putting in the new one.
