Hi I was looking at a 242 LS formula with a 496 Mag 375. Just wondering who does ecm mods?
If i want to mod it do i have to buy a new one?
IS the factory reflashable?
Who Does it?
Can i do it with a lap top program?

What year?The new 496's with the 555efi is hard to program.Whipple is the only one.Most are changing them over to Mefi4

If its mefi 1-4
It can be remaped, Just depends on what you do to it, if it really needs programing.

I also recomend Mark at Precision Marine ,He will tell ya if it will help.no bs

If you are going to change cam and do head work then I would change over to a Mefi 4B we do it all the time. You also need to change the sencors.
