MPI mag wont start (#@%*@ing Thing)
Broke the plug off an injector and the engine stopped instantly. Replaced the injector and now nothing. No beeping and no fuel pump. Dead as a door nail. I am just about to buy a carb and manifold. All this EFI gear isnt worth the fuel saving. Anyone got any idears. Its summer down here and i have had only one run so far. Did 63 on seven cylinders though so thats not to bad for an old Donzi fishing boat.

Sounds like you may have knocked a power feed loose as opposed to an EFI problem. Check for power at the ecu when you turn the key on. Also make sure both the main engine connector and the main ecu connector are tight and clean.

Everything is dead including your instruments when you turn the ignition on ?
I guess you need to check for voltage on your engine using a voltmeter to see if vital points gets power.
Could be a loose connection or a fuse somewhere. I think there is a fuse connected to the starter terminal that distributes power to the engine, you might have to check that it is working and distributes power.

It's probably just the engine breaker (like deboatmon said) or a fuse. Inside the black box (where the ECM is) there are three fuses.

Im finished with all this EFI S#*T. I am going to put a carbon maker on. Bet with a good intake and a well set up Bigs carb it makes more power. We will see.

Hey Jason, got your email. So how much do you want for that EFI setup?
I bet it's something really simple, you just haven't found it yet.
Thanks,
Michael

I am going to go have another go at it now. Either way i am going for the carb setup as i want to be able to tune and play with diferent cams and other parts without having to reprogremme the ECU. You are right, its probally a fuse. Make me an offer for the whole lot, Pump, dizzi, loom, Fuel system. All of it. All i need is a carb, MSD and a Heddin Marine fuel pump. Jas
