swim step
on my daytona when you trim up the drives to full trailer pos. the tie bar hits on the swim step brackets and scars up the the bar bad i can raise the step or install trim limit spacers in the trim rams anybody use trim limit spacers ? and is there a down side to them other than lose of travel

umm..... seems like my bravo's are well over a foot (18"+??)off the ground in the full down position on the trailer- so either leave them down or trim them up 1/2 way if you feel you need to.

i agree butt the person who had the boat 1st tweaked and scarred the old one the new one cost $420.oo just trying to figure the best way to stupid proof it so i do not make the same mistake

XR's require the use of trim limit spacers, so no they are not an issue.
Or make a mark on your indicator and be careful. You're probably better off with the spacers!!!
