LOTO Memorial Day 2007?
We've never been over to LOTO, so we figured Memorial Day would be a good first trip
Anyone have recomendations for where to stay? I have no idea about the area, but we'd like to be close to the party!

Parkview Bay is very nice and is very close to party cove. You are on the same side of the bridge as party cove as well so you won't have to go through the long no-wake zone which takes 20 minutes or so to get through. The Ledges is at about a mile and a half from the bridge but is on the opposite side of the bridge but is very close to Dogg Days, Topsiders, Shooters 21. It is on mile marker 19-20.
Look around mile marker 9 as well as that is where the Horny Toad is and is a very good bar and evening entertainment. This is about an 14 mile boat ride to party cove but you have to go through the no wake zone as well.
Hope this helps.

places to stay...
You might try looking at Vacation By Owner.com (OSO won't let me post the URL, but google it and you can find the site) It is a good place to find a place if you don't want to stay in a hotel. I'm sure they have places around LOTO.
