Default XR drive?

Will a bravo xr drive work with a 1998 bravo 1 gimbal assembly? A used or remanned xr drive isn't much more money than rebuilding my 98 bravo1 with xr componets. But if ya have to factor in a new gimbal ring with an xr drive then a rebuild may be the way to go.
I'm slowly comming to terms that procharging my 502 will cost almost 15- 20k buy the time ya do engine mods, full hydraulic steering, & drive upgrades

You can use the regular bravo gimble ring. Just need to change the gimble bearing and a couple other things.

$3500 and you arrange shipping. Perfect with around 20 hours.
