Default Oil Pressure Issue

Ran the boat last weekend with the dealer for a shakedown, oil pressure was the same in both motors(80psi) on the way out.On the way back the port motor would loose about 25 psi when we pushed it over 5200 rpm but would come back up when we let off.Any ideas?

Thanks
Pierre

The oil got hot, thinned out and the pressure dropped. but 55 lbs at 5200 RPM is fine.

What filter and oil are you running? and do you know what your oil temp is.

Forgot to mention that we had a loading up problem at low speeds with that engine we stalled it several times. The service manager sugested the problem with the oil pressure could be from the oil being washed down with fuel, he was going to change the oil and test.

If it was a Fram Racing, like the HP 4/6, ok. If it was the cheppy Frams, that wasn't helping you at all
