Default Idle surge 502 EFI...HELP!

OK, did the heads, exhaust, roller rockers, programmed ECU, now have a nasty idle surge dropping from 500 - 110 rpm. Tried adjusting both throttle blades, playing with fuel pressure and nothings working. Anyone ever fix this before?? Please Help! Thanx!

I have had this happen before when we had the ecm reprogrammed. Once I had to just let it run and idle for damn neer ever and the other I had to send it back to have them fix it.

Sounds like your IAC needs adjusting. That is usually needed after reprogramming your ECM. You will need a scan tool. Make sure your base timeing and fuel pressure are set correct to begin with. Then after the engin warms up, set the IAC to about 35 to 40 counts by adjusting the stop screw on the promary throttle blade. That more than likely will solve your problem....assuming your IAC is in good working order. If that doesn't work you may need to check the calibration of your TPS....but we'll save that for another thread.
