Default Billet Marine water crossover kit

Has anyone tried the Billet Marine water crossover kit on a 500EFI ?

http://www.billetmarine.com/crossover.htm

Looks like a pretty neat product, just wondering if it is worth the money.

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback.

I think I'll try them.

Happy boating.

I was told they wouldn't fit on an efi with the serpitine belt system when I was looking for one last fall???

I guess I didn't know about that kit.

A standard crossover will NOT work because you loose the pulley on the water pump. This kit however compensates for that by allowing you to use the stock pulley and keep the standard belt length.

I wanted one because my best bud has the same boat as me, but he runs a carb 500. He bought a cross over and just squeaked by me when we would run wide open. It does give you some more hp.

So I started looking, but didn't see that kit.
