The circuit breaker (I think 50 amp) keeps popping and killing the starboard motor while under way. This usually happens when I'm running a little harder. It's located on the top of the motor on the port side. It has a red button for testing and a little yellow plastic arm that swings down. I have to reset it and then the motor fires right up.

This is a brand new boat/motors. 4 hours on the motor.

Anyone have any ideas what this might be? Anyone run into this issue before? The manual calls it the Electrical Overload Protection Circuit or something like that.

I found the problem. It was one of the near by, large connectors/plugs on the wiring harness physically actuating the red test button on the breaker when the going got rough. I know, so silly, but I'm glad it's found. The wires are now zip tied up a little better.

By the way, the shop couldn't find this issue. They were probably looking for more serious problems. I found it after some on the water trial and error.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else ever runs into this...
