Default Gen VI Jesel Belt drive?

Okay, just tried installing my belt drive, after major grinding on my block I got it to almost fit. Now the camshaft tunnel extends .020 too far out and the cover bottoms on the camshaft tunnel before it sits flush on the gasket?

Who here is running a GEN VI motor and a jesel drive.
Do I dare machine .020 off the cover??

I've been messing with this stupid belt drive. And I can't seem to find someone who makes a good timing set for the motor. I have a rollmaster and the clearances were off as well so now what. Do I order a different rollmaster?
