Has anyone done this exhaust upgrade and what difference in performance and mph did you get ?

There is a very informative thread on here that goes into great detail with some real world dyno testing. I will try and locate the thread and post.

The thread was done by bob @ FTM google Full Throttle Marine and he has everything posted on his website.

Very, Very good info as well as info on Raylar's kit and Turbulator removal from the stock exhaust

In our experiences our customers only gained about 1-2 mph. And was able to spin a little more prop. However the pulling power & midrange torque was more pronounced after adding them.. Jamie / Lakeside

I've sold a few sets of Danas for the 496's. Everyone has said they gained a mph or two up top. They say that the mid-range is unbelieveable.
I run Danas on my motors in my Baja. I like them, but it can get pretty cramped running them in twin appplications.
