The Best Seat For The Worlds.........

As always, the best spectator spot to watch the World's in Key West is from your own boat, next to the course, as a patrol boat or medical boat.
This year we have all turn boats signed up but we will need pace boats, patrol and medical support boats.

We will need them for all 3 races, all 3 race days, wed. Nov. 5th, fri. the 7th and sunday the 9th.

If your interested in signing up, please email me or the SBI office with your basic information and what days you can participate.
If your a regular on this website, you already know this is going to be a big race week with many teams showing up for a chance at the trophies.
They really appreciate you being out there and watching over them. Sign up as soon as you can please. It's 3 weeks away.
I will be in the pits starting Sunday, Nov.2nd .........
Questions?.....PM or email me.
See you in KW.........Thanks in advance, Pat D

We can always use more boats and back up boats. Have them see me on thursday in registration. There is a good chance we could use them for fri. and/or sunday.
Thanks, Pat

4 more days guys..........

Everything is looking good.
Tents are going up. Pit spaces being mapped out.
Turn boats are ready, medical team and boats are in position.

You might need to bring a jacket, it's in the mid 60's in Key West this morning.
The locals are dressed like Eskimos and the roosters are wearing socks.

See ya soon........pd

So far........ what I'm seeing is the low 70's at night and should be 80 by the first race on wed.
I'll update later on water and wind forecast.

I've been watching 4 websites.
MY unofficial and unscientific forecast is........
Sunday to thurs. winds 10 to 15 knots, light to moderate chop
isolated showers with the best possibility sunday night
Lows in the 70's and highs might hit 82 by wed.
Looks very good, and sounds like my kind of key west race...NOT THE HOT STUFF
(but it's key west........who knows)

36' Cig Gladiator
Pat, I might regret this becuase every time I sign up I end up breaking something on the boat during the poker run on the way down. but if the good lords willing and the creek dont rise, Ill be available to help out with my Gladiator. Pace boat would be great on Friday and Sunday

let me know

Bob.........
OK.......see me when you get there and tell me that nothing is broken. Then we'll go from there.
I still have your old paperwork and wondered what happened to you. ("someone" every year asks me about "that Coast Guard guy") Honest!!
Pace boats break down just like race boats, so by fri. and sunday we will probably need you.
Take it easy on the way down..............PD
