Awesome 31 Specs.

Having just purchased a 1997 31 Awesome, does anyone have a spec sheet on it (Fuel capacity, weight etc.)?
I realize it is custom (#5 drives, 572 motors etc.) just looking for basic info... Maybe a wiring diagram?

Randy

You are right on all three accounts. Although I remember seeing something from Awesome that referenced 6100 lbs. Anyway, we both agree that the true weight is more. I have my 31 stripped to the bare hull only the fuel tanks and cabin goods still installed. I will weigh it and let you know what at least is the starting weight of the hull. Can you say diet?

Hey Randy, You will not get an argument out of me on that subject. I made the comment given the fact that a small diet could be in order, perhaps more important is some weight re-distribution. I will give up some speed to get a better ride in the rough stuff.

#5 speedmasters in a 1997 hull. Hmmmmm, that is interesting. Wiring diagram? Not a chance. The build process was not that advanced. (see pic) If you have any questions on wiring, shoot me an email. Pictures of what you are looking at would be helpful. I removed every piece of wiring from my hull. Gone - outa here. Re-wiring from the ground (hull) up. rotax454@aol.com Richard

In 09, you are going to have to bring those 572's over here and do a LEOPA poker run.

There are three poker runs a year. Spring, Thunderfest (summer) and the Fall poker run. Look on the www.leopa.com website. Dates for 2009 will be posted on there when they are set. All three are very affordtable.
