Anyone used this in there boat? Summit SUM-G3136-1

What makes a marine pump a marine pump? My Stewart Warner pumps are dead and I was thinking about these or 12-801-1 Holley

Electric marine pumps are better insulated and sealed. Mechanical pumps have a built in vent in case the diaphram goes bad the vent directs the gas and fumes into the carb. That's all I know!

Respectfully disagree----mechanically speaking. If you are talking about mechanical, then it's CV Products. Simply the best.

I agree with the CV mechanical pumps. Order with the green spring and you don't need a regulator. This pump will support 750+ HP and hold 6 lbs of fuel pressure at WOT. I have been using two since 2003. Don't let the price scare you, as the installed cost will be way less than a conversion to electric...bullet proof.

Get someone like Mr. Horsepower or Young to order for you. I think you can buy in the $400 range. CV also makes a a "marine" version with the overflow fitting.
