Default remote oil filter adapter???

Hello,
I'm looking to purchase a remote oil filter housing, not a sandwich type just something with a mounting bracket and two ports to except a standard oil filter. Does anyone have some suggestions on a make and model that would work. Thanks Jp

The "sandwich" adapter is to plumb in an oil cooler or other accessory.

A "remote filter" installation requires two parts: the "filter adapter" (has the in/out ports, screws into stock location), and the "remote mount."

You can probably find stock Merc stuff on Ebay. Or look up parts such as Canton 22-592 (adapter) and Canton 22-620 (remote mount). http://marine-performance-parts.com/22620.aspx http://marine-performance-parts.com/22592.aspx You'll add your choice of fittings and lines.

Shameless plug: I just happen to have both pieces brand new. No fittings.

Need to know what motor you have, and if Big block what generation it is to help. The canton pieces are much nicer then the merc stuff!
