Default Cam help for an x-575 SCI

My motor is originally a 575 SCI with 70 Hrs. with superchiller. The 256 Blower is locked up and destroyed. Took the blower and manifold off and the #6 intake lobe on the cam is wiped out, and the other lobes aren't great either. Bottom end is good shape. Plan is new 8:71 blower and whipple chiller manifold. New head gaskets
etc. Fuel system is original Aeromotive and has MSD box with 5600 RPM limiter. Plan to keep throttle bodies. Need hyd. roller Cam recommendation. Boat weighs 4600 Lbs. and is single engine

Welcome and sorry to hear about the troubles. I have a fresh 575 blower and freshwatersuperchiller setup with studs that will bolt on. Also small and standard pulleys with ASM ECM for the 575. Blower has new rotors and teflon wipers, all done by DMP. These were spares for my last boat. PM me for pictures and more info if interested.

Thanks for the replies. This site is pretty cool and very informative. I have a TBS 8:71 and Whipple at TBS shop. This is a nice replacement set up for the factory 256 and superchiller. Plus it's 3/4 inch shorter in overall height. I'll call D. Gellner about the cam. Anybody used Bullet cams before? I was looking at a 240/244 @.050 with .601 lift. The duration is close to stock. Worst thing for me is to big cam.

He had Isky make them, it wasn't a common
# of theirs.

As I recall, it was similar to a 525EFI cam, spec wise
but not exact.

Call Dean, he'll know the specific's.

He's a good guy..... treated me right,
plus, you'll need the ECM's re-flashed, and
he can handle that too.

So sorta like a Crane 741 with a 114....

If you can get it a 741 is pretty decent or step up to the 651 as far as shelf cams go!

I just orderd a cam from Bullet from my 502. They set me up with a 224/232 @ .050 with a .600 lift at 114. This was set up for a Procharger @ 7psi. They were very helpful and seemed to know there stuff. I wanted easy to handle at the dock and no water reverson issues.
