Default Looking for cabin sliding door latch for a 1993 Formula 271

Does anyone know where i can get one of these or the part number on it? i bought the boat with it missing but there is a rectangular cut out for the latch. I believe it is a black plastic flush mount rectangular latch with a button that slides from left to right for openeing or closing the door. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Call Formula TAG(tech assistance group)for part #,then ask your local Formula dealer to order it for you.If you don't have a local dealer I will drop ship it to you,but try your local dealer first.Robert Nelems 205-221-3072

We had a thread about this a while ago. As I recall some one found one at I think it was McMasterCar (sp). Try and do a search.

Default sliding door lock

I think that door was built by Spartech Marine. They went out of business and their harware is availble from Teak Isle now.The contact there is Jim Cox. He is an old Spartech guy and knows a lot about the sliding tracks, rolling wheels and flush latches.

not to change the subject on your post but i see that you have a 271. I'm installing a set of mcleod bolsters in my 242 and I think they're a bit tall, so I need to cut them down a bit. Would you mind telling me that the measurement is from the floor to the top of your bolster seat bottom? Also does your boat have two sets of footrests or just one set. Thanks
