So I have a 502 with the vst pump crap on it. The vst pump has gone bad, I have also heard about some vapor lock issues with this pump. Is there a way I can use just like a holley pump and forgo using this pump at all???

Guessing by the price of the pump and the number of parts NLA, it might make sense to convert to a cool fuel setup.
Btw, I do have a used VST fuel pump if you need one, and I'm in the St Louis area

Get a cup of coffee and do a search using VST on this site. You will learn more than you want to know.

YA your right about more post on VST pumps then I wanna know about..but I havent found any on how to just remove it and run like a holley pump or something...or will it have the same damn problem with the holley pump??

Go to the above link. I did exactly what you are inquiring about. I eliminated the VST system using a carter marine EFI pump.

This is the pump I used. Very popular marine pump for BBC marine apps. Price is pretty fair too.
