Default 1995 454 mag mpi cuts out

hey everyone i am new to the forum and i am having trouble with my 95 baja outlaw with a 454 mag mpi that only when i go wide open after about 30 sec every time the engine will cut out just like i turned the key off then when i back off the throttle abit it will come back on the boat will run smooth at about 5100 rpms for about 30 seconds then just shut off than come back and if i keep the throttle wide open it will keep cutting out like i was turning the key on and off over and over if i run just less then wide open it will run all day long with ne problems. i hooked up merc scanner and no codes the only thing i found was the tps showed 83% at WOT let me know if anyone has any ideas

THANKS
JASON

Are you sure you are not hitting the rev limiter???? Rev limiter is at 5100-5150rpms. Thats what it sounds like to me.

It should not kill the engine. It feels like a slight engine misfire.

Try a bigger prop first before you get into things. 5050 in the manuals, 5100 in the #16 shop manual. So you are on it.
