Power steering Pump reservoir top bolt broke
I just noticed the top bolt on my power steering pump reservoir is broke so it is only being held on with one. I have not yet removed it. Does anyone know if I can just repleace the threaded bolt that the lock nut used to attach to? Or am I looking at a full replacement?
Thanks

I have been doing some home work. What I need is a power steering pump mounting adjuster stud. Do both metric and the early nonmetric pumps take the same mounting adjuster studs? I assume my 1988 Formula steering pump is a metric?

16-41877 is the stud part number.
Please note, I ordered four of these, three were the same and one was different. The difference was three had a longer stud that went into the pump and were too long to seat fully into the pivot stud location. The shorter one fit perfect. But it sounds like you need to replace the adjuster stud anyhow and the long studs fit in that one just fine.
Bottom line is when you put the new stud in, make sure the nut part seats on the back of the reservoir.
