Default Bucket Seat Plastic Sleeve Mystery

Hi All,

On my 1988 242LS I found that there is a plastic sleeve that fits over the top of the two front seat pedestals like a cap and then the bucket seat fits over it. This is all under the actual seat and at the top of the pedestal. I think the purpose is to prevent unnecessary wear on the pedestal base. Any way mine are cracked. Where can I get replacements?

Thanks in advance.

Peter

The 206ls I had in the past had the same thing. I got them at the Formula dealer when mine needed replacing. If you can not locate them, I may have one stuffed on a shelf some where, but I will not be at that location untill the weekend and will only have very limited cpu access while there for my 2 wk vac. Let me know if you can not get from Formula.

Hey Ted G,

Thanks!!!! Are these definately the right size for the factory installed 242LS pedestals from 88?
