Question tips for removing my 496

I am planning on installing the Raylar 103 cam into my mag base. There is no way to do it in the boat for clearance reasons so the engine needs to be pulled. I am a very mechanically inclined person but this will be my first boat engine and I am looking for pointers.

Since there is less than 2" of clearance at the front of the engine I am wondering if I need to mess with the drive much to get the engine separated for removal. Does anyone have a diagram available?

I also need torque specs for the rockers, balancer, etc.

You guys have been very helpful in the short time since I have joined, i am hoping you can continue to help me with this. Thank you!

Drive has to come off ....remove fuel line ... shift cable ...throttle cable ..exhaust pipes ...unplug the harness ..two motor mount nuts in the front .. in the rear there are two bolts that hold the bellhousing to the inner Transom Plate ... then you can lift the motor .... then you will need to remove the Battery Ground and the Positve to the Starter ...Also the 1.24" suction line to the seapump ..either at the pump or some of the 496's have a coupling midway between the pump and TA ....lift slowly ...and look for obstructions ....there may be something I missed .. so go easy .....m
