Default what should mt topspeed be?

hi, i am new here just got my first boat. a 1974 formula f20. it has a 351w in it with holley carb and holley intake manifold. it has a 21p quicksiler prop and spins at 4200rpm at 44mph. i have had it to 47mph with just me and a friend. my question is... is that about normal? what can i do to get more speed outa her? thank you in advance! Brian
