What would a set of 26p 4 blade bravos do for the performance of my 311? Right now im turning 5100 rpm with 25p 3 blades and i see a steedy 68 and the best ive seen is 71. The power i have in the boat is merc 420s and trs drives. Im not particularly looking for top speed but thats always a plus, but if it increased my cruising speed would be even better. Thanks for the input.

You may want to borrow a set to try, because adding pitch AND another blade may cost you more rpm than you will like. The diameter will be smaller so that will help some..... but try before you buy!!!!

If you have TRS Drives they tend not to like 4 blades.

The four blades are pretty good.
You can stay on plane at a much lower RPM.
They make the boat run real stable.
You come out of the hole quicker.
But you will loose some top speed.
Try your buddies out that will tell you if you can gain.
I tried a set on my 292 and lost five miles per hour top end.
NOW WE CAN'T HAVE THAT!!
Good luck post your findings if you test them.

What he is getting at is a TRS 80's Formula has the drives so deep in the water that it takes alotof power to turn a 4 blade that deep.

What about standard 25 mirage+ 3 blades?
