trim cylinder hydrolic line
I have a leak in the trim line on the inboard of the transom, the brass fitting which connects the main line to the drive hydrolic line I just replaced the brass adaptor or coupler but is still leaking, have the flares ever been known to split or crack. I tend to think so because it seemed to get worse after I snugged it the first time. thanks for any help

FWIW - I had new stainless lines made for the K-planes on a 377 scarab @ a local hydrolic line specialty store that sold Earl's fittings and braided line. We had a couple of leaks and the old braided lines were shedding and giving off splinters/slivers that hurt like hell. Out the door the lines cost something like $26 each to be made, and mounted perfectly and worked perfectly for 3-4 years after without any problems.

We also have them pre-made on the shelf unless you need something different than 60"
