Default New carb

In the market for a new custom carb, which would be the best choice, AED or Nickerson?

Default carb

nickerson has been great with my carbs on my hp500s. i even had issues with rubber from my fuel pumps months after he freshened them up and he went through both of them for free. the issues that i was having was caused by my fuel pumps, not his awesome carb work.dean is a pleasure to work with, and his carbs are flawless!!!!!!!!! i am in the process of building a pair of 548/650s and he will be the guy doing the carb work. he has also done a speced out 950 for my prostreet camaro that performs excellent!!!

If you are looking at the Dominator style, I would recommend you get a 2-stage carb or you will run rich in the mid-range. For the $, the new Holley Marine Dominator 2-stage carb will be a good value.

For what holley charges for their carbs you can have one custom built and tuning right out of the box for about the same cost from prosystems..did it both ways...cheaper less time consuming getting one from patrick
