Default 98 353 trim tab indicators

have a 98 353 fastech. Tab indicator on right does not go all the way up. How do you check/adjust/correct indicator?

If you have mechanical indicators like in the picture there is a dial adjustment for each cable where they mount to the back of the dash panel. The way I adjust mine is trim both tabs so they are level with the hull and I can reach under the dash and turn the dials to adjust each indicator up and down. For mine a 3 setting is level. If you can't easily reach it, just take the screws out of the dash panel and adjust it from the top.

If it still does not go all the way up the cable must be binding or the return spring is not working.
