Default Trim rams

I am selling a set of alpha trim rams on the bay. I had them hanging in my basement and they have extended fully. What is the best way to re-tract them to make them smaller for shipping. Tried to press them by hand and they were tite. Any ideas?

Thanks

They should go right in. Put one end against the ground and push down. You don't have the holes for the lines plugged do you ? It is best to keep plugs in them holes when storing.

I have the braided hoses still there and I taped them closed when I stored. I leaned on them with all my weight and they started to move. I will do bit by bit.
