Default 01 353... Props Inward?

We just brought home a 01 353 with 500efi's. The technician that I had look it over told me that if you spin the props inward on that boat you would gain 2-3 mph....

Does anyone have any experiance with this?

I know it wont handle as well around the docks but how does it handle at speed with that set up?

Thanks in advance.

My 312 is also set up turning in, and my tech told me exactly the same thing about mine. He also owned a 353 with pretty big power. I can vouch for the handling around the docks. It is better than a single screw boat, but not as good as props turning out. There are no problems at speed for me.

Anyone else have experience with this on a 353?
