Default Question about installing dual guages

Looking to install a 2nd set of guages on my boat. Its a 500efi and looking to add a 2nd oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp to the passenger side. can this be done by piggy backing off the exisisting guages or do seperate wires need to be run from the guage to the senders ?? Thanks

I believe you can piggyback the senders. However, I would recommend installing them on their own senders. For example, on the oil temp, lets say you are reading temps right now before the oil cooler. It would be nice to add a sender, after the oil cooler, and have that gauge on the passenger side. Normally, there is enough places on the engines to add additional senders.

You might need "dual station" senders if piggy backing.
