Seems like most guys with boxes have the propshaft centerline 3.5" to 4.5" deep. I have a post on this with a ton of feedback, I will pull it ttt for you. Feel free to post input there.

30' Scarab w/Bravos on Stellings boxes. The propshafts are about 2" below the bottom. It is reasonable getting on plane with B1 props. What HP will you have and what is the MPH are you expecting?

H.p.450 BBC twins 28 Saber . On a twin setup when you measure with a straight edge is it at the keel or directly in front of the drives? Thanks

Measure directly in front of the drives. One other dimension to check would be the "new" clearance between the flame arrestor and and the engine hatch.

The engine hatch cover was going to have to modified someday. I have blowers and intercoolers that I plan on using when the time is right. Just going to use a carb intake setup at first. Even the stelling exhaust manifolds have elbows that are taller then most .Don't like losing the sun pad!
