Default Spring assembly and upgrades

Well the boat has sat quietly powerless all winter waiting for the weather to break. Well finally over the last few weeks things have started coming together and we managed to get some boat work done. With the help of some friends we have been able to knock alot of the work out!

So here is the rundown.

- Purchased the boat ... end of aug 10. Boat had not been in the water in 2 years and sat outside uncovered during that time.
- it had new HP 500's in it with under 30 hours on them.
- ran thru november diag'n issues
- pulled the motors and drives for the winter

NOW!

- cleaned up the motors, full tuneup, starters, etc.
- replaced old flappers with shiny new exhaust tips
- due to a water pickup problem we cap'd the drives and installed transom pickups and sea strainers (Thanks eric at Teague)
- replaced all the upholstery in the back.... rear seat, seat back, engine cover, rear hatch. had to have all the wood replaced as well!
- new drive trim cables and trim tab cables
- some audio and lighting work (still in the works)
- and a bunch of other crap i cant remember

as of now the motors are all prepd and ready to go back in. the bildge is all cleaned up and just about ready for the motors. all the upholstery is ready to be installed. and the sound system is in pieces!

here are a couple pics.... she is dirty! Once everything is put together we are going to shine her all up!

new tips from hardin marine

nice shiny hp500.... all it needs is the carb pulled.

the other dirty girl

lastly a really bad shot of the new pickups

update:
water system is in,
motors are in,
leds are in,
exhaust tips are in,
and a bunch of other stuff is done.

once the carbs come back she will be ready to fire. should be all buttoned up by next weekend. Then toss the upholstery, wax her up, and get boat wrapped.

couple pics

Thanks! I just want this thing to be right, i'm not the guy who sits around hoping things will be fine. I would much rather put the time in and do it right. It will make my summer much less stressful knowing everything has been gone through and its reliable.
