Default Soft Wall Exhaust Hose...any experience?

Has or does anyone use soft wall exhaust hose? I recently had this installed on my boat due to headers and exhaust tips not lining up properly. It is rather expensive but looks real flimsy, I can squeeze this with my fingers and when the boat is running, 660 HP, I can see it moving. Does anyone have any real experience with this and is it something I should be concerned with?

I recently used blue silicone hose on mine for a fit issue. It has held up real well so far. There never seems to be any heat there and it is nice and pliable. Did stink for a bit when I first used it.

Great! That is what I wanted to hear, some reassurance since I've had my share of issues on this project already. Mine is the blue silicone also, how plyable is yours?

I have the blue silicone and it's very soft. That's one of the benefits because it is easier to install and flexes with the slight engine movement to reduce stress on headers, if you have headers.
