bleeding hydraulic steering system

How would you go about bleeding a full hydraulic steering system on a boat with twin 250 merc outboards?

Make sure the reservoir stays full and just turn it back and forth a bunch of times.

Are you talking a seastar type system? which cylinder do you have?

I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to post back on the subject, rchevelle it's duel outboard latham steering system for two mercury 250 outboards. I've never done it before and wanted to get as much information as possible
