Default Homemade Seats

I am going to build some new driver and passanger seats but I am wanting some ideas.

I am going to start from scratch and try to keep it cheap and simple.

Can everyone with homemade seats please post up pictures of them.

Thanks a bunch, Jesse

Open to both ideas

I am thinking of drop downs but something could easily change my mind

Thanks, Jesse

I recently redid my Scarab drop down bolsters, going back with treated wood. If you plan on making your own seats go ahead now and get your treated plywood, take it home and lay it flat some where indoors and start letting it dry out for a few weeks, turning it over every few days. This way you will have good wood to start with.

Found these pics of the seat frame online. Not exactly homemade but it would be easy to replicate if you had a welder and some metal working tools. Looks pretty solid to me.
