Default boat not wanting to accelerate off idle formula 242 ls 502 mag

had the boat out this passed weekend and ran great up until it was time to take it in . hit a nice size wave and it just cut off , oil line were very hot but water temp was good - around 150 so i let it cool down and fired it up sounds fine go to take it in and really cant give tooo much throttle off idle or it would start breaking up and stall and of course a quarter mile from the ramp she starts running good again . got it home and looked for loose wire connections but all seems good im thinking something with the ignition i just gave her a full tune up last month anyone ever had anything like this happen to hem please chim in thanks

chadman99,
Could be so many things... If the wiring is good... Could it be water in the fuel? I had a similar problem with mine. Ran fine until hitting waves, then ran crappy. Turned out to be water...
Just a guess..
