Broke off top of dip stick
Last weekend I went to check the oil on my 525efi and the yellow knob broke off the end of the dip stick. It is stuck in the tube about a 1/2 inch down. Several attempts to remove it were unsuccessful. Looks like I will need to remove the tube going to the bottom of the motor. Looks like this tube is pressed into the block just about the oil pan. How do I remove and reinstall it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Had the same thing happen to me. I was able to get it out with needle nose pliars, should be able to grab on to the end up the dipstick that protrudes into the yellow rubber nob. I've also heard you could use a shop vac and try to vacuum it out. Might also be able to get a very small screw driver, heat it up and push it into the nob so that it melts into the rubber and pull it out.

Had a friends break off in a 700SCI was able to get it out using a sharp 45 deg angle pick.If you can't grab it like Tex said heat it let it melt in there a little, you then have hole to insert pick then pull.
