Default 496 Circuit Breaker Problem

I have a 496 in a 2004 Formula 271 Fastech and i have run two poker runs this year. I have had problems with the 50 AMP breaker on top of the motor popping. I can cruiser forever in calm or slightly rough water NO PROBLEMS. I run the poker run and get into chop or rough seas and when the boat lauches its fine but when it lands back in the water the breaker pops. Everything powers off and have no power steering no gauges exc. I can not figure out what is causing this. I removed the breaker and tried tapping it on the work bench to see if it would pop and it would not. Looking for some help with this issue.

Wire shorting out when bounced around. Sounds like the breaker is doing exactly what its supposed to do.

you need to look over your entire electrical system look for dry or rotted insulation it only takes a small exposed bit of wire to cause a short. When you land from a hard launch something is shorting out. Sounds like the breaker is working, as a comparison order another one try it if the problem persists you know its a short and you now have a spare breaker !
