502 efi alternator swap
I have a 1993 powerquest 257 legend that I am putting a monster of a stereo system in. I plan on adding a perk switch and another group 31 battery. The alternator that is on the engine is only 65 amp and am wanting to upgrade that as much as possible. Does anyone out there know of an alternator on the market that would "physically" be a direct bolt on replacement with a higher output? Thanks in advance!

Assuming you have the Mando like I have on my 257, here is what you need

They have other options also if that one doesn't match yours.
You will also need to upgrade your power wires, as the stock is just enough for the 65 amp.
