I have a 1997 Scarab 29 and I want to replace the side vents with Aluminum. Anybody still making these ? I have the original plastic ones. Good shape although one side has a good crack in it.

I am going to make some out of stainless over the winter I have been thinking about doing all summer since my kids like to pull on the plastic ones.

I designed some billet ones up for my '88 this weekend. I'll have 'em cut and anodized over the next couple weeks. The newer ones are a little different but not much. I'd just need some dimensions to make a set. I'll post pics as soon as mine are done. Not sure on a price yet..I'll have to see how much time I have into 'em.

That sounds good. Im currently working on doing something to fix what I have but would definitely be interested in a billet set if they are reasonably priced.

I made these many years ago. Very easy to do with some aluminum.

No just find somebody with a mill or a cnc and it would be easy. Use the old ones (even broken) as a template.
