Anyone with Scarab 26 can confirm they have two hatches on floor?
A surveyor reviewed my boat for a buyer, and it's a '96 Scarab 26.
He found one so-called major issue:
He claims the second, aft hatch on the cockpit floor is not stock and was put it to dry out some wet balsa core below.
Now, immediately around the hatch, it's rough at the edges of the floor when you open the round hatch, but I don't think it goes beyond that. The hatch takes a beating because of its location.
He recommended the buyer get 3500 off his initial offer just for this.
It's a crock. It's stock to have two round hatches on a Scarab 26 floor. If anyone has a Scarab 26, I would love to see a pic of the cockpit floor and the two round hatches!

Send me a pm with your contact info. I have a 96 26ft Scarab and I have a picture that shows both hatches/ports. Mine are both round, one towards the front, and one towards the rear, both between the seats/ in the middle of the boat.
