Stolen Boston Whaler
My dad bought a 1990 17' Boston Whaler the year before being diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since he passed away his children and grandchildren have taken care of and enjoyed his Whaler.
That boat was stolen from inside a locked gait at Tradewinds condos in Crescent Beach, Florida on its trailer on Jan. 9,2012 between 10 and 11 AM. Located just south of St. Augustine on AIA. That 20 year old boat meant more to me now than when my dad was living. It was alittle piece of him I had left.
His dream was to always own a Boston Whaler and I promised him I would take good care of it and I took such pride in keeping it nice for him and his 8 grandchildren.
I pray for forgiveness for whomever took it and pray for its return. That little old whaler reminded me of my dad.
Its really not about the money...that can be replaced...but about the sentimental value and all the memories of my father. Mostly Im going to miss the conversations I had with my dad while scrubbing his boat out on the side of A1A, getting rid of all the mildew and oiling that teak to get it ready for his grandkids to enjoy another summer in PaPa's boat.
Please if anyone has any information on the whereabouts of my dads boat or information useful to help me get it back let me know.
its been a heartbreaking past week knowing that people could be so cruel to others and just down right steal from someone.
Thanks,
Kim

KSMC- I would post a $ 500 reward for it's return with no questions asked. Unfortunately this boat may be up in the swamps of Georgia being used by some backwoods rednecks who don't give a hoot.
Good luck.

Still searching for my dads whaler. Thanks for all the help! It's back on craiglist as being stolen. It's hull number is BWCM 6895 E 990. Georgia tag on trailer Chatham county 2437 CZ. I'll never give up on finding it. It meant too much to me. I don't care about the motor that was replaced. Just praying someone finds the hull. Thanks again for caring

Definitely put a post on http://www.continuoswave.com its the main Whaler forum, those guys are ALWAYS checking out Whalers for sale.
What kind of power did it have? Did it have the white RPS and console? A few pics may help you get your Whaler back, I know how special these little boats can be
