My latest project is a 30 Cobra Cat with twin Mercs. This boat needed some serious updating on the dash. Faded bezels and rather gawdy trim on the dash bottom. I cut the dash back to a more rounded look and glass the bottom edge and rounded it off. Removed the toggle switche panel and few unused gauges. I then covered with a 3D carbon fiber vinyl wrap. Rewired the dash and installed carling switches in the side panel for a cleaner look. Carbon fiber wrapped the steering wheel front and back with one piece! Shifters were painted and wrap of the bezel plate.

With a heat gun the wrap would stretch and do what ever I wanted. I thought for sure it would not wrap around those tight bends and stretch into place. It did. I watched a video of a guy wrapping his car wheels and thought this could work on the steering wheel also.

I have the same wheel and just ordered some carbon fiber vinyl, the boat looks great.
