Cool boat. My first boat was a g3
Not sure what year, but I think it was older than yours? It had more pronounced flare towards the rear of the hull. It had a evinrude 65.
Id like to find another one.

We were Glasspar dealers in the late 50's and 60's at Challenger Marine in North Miami Fl. I was Service manger at the time, and I called Glastron to complain about the boat flexing. "Doesn't Flex!" Yeah, right. The warranty manager came down and took him for a ride. I told him where to sit on the bench seat. I had drilled a hole in the seat, and pushed a 1/2" round wooden dowel from the seat to the bottom of the boat. We jumped a wake, and you could hear him scream for a mile. The dowel was sticking out of the seat about 3". Get it? He did......

You could watch it move crossing wakes and it scared me so much I painted ” no step” on each side because I was afraid a bud might put their heel through the boat.
