Lake Cumberland Friday Lunch Fun Run

Lake Cumberland Friday Lunch Fun Run
Member Fountain Family suggested a fun run for Friday so we decided the best restaurant to go to would be Fish Tales. Bill Jasper, the owner of the State Dock and the Stock Dock Poker Run, also owns Wolf Creek Marina and the attached restaurant Fish Tales. It has a great Tiki Hut for outside seating with a great water view, good food and the best part - they will offer you a cold mug for adult beverages that you bring onto the dock - unlike the owner of Conley Bottom who went off on member Boat Freak last year for daring to bring a couple of beers on the dock.
Here's the plan.
If you are coming from the Stock Dock or points east on the lake the plan is to meet in the big bowl outside of the State Dock a little before 12:00 eastern time (11:00 Central/State Dock time) and depart for a ten mile run up to the dam around noon.
If you are launching from Holcombs landing or coming from Grider Hill be at the dam a little after noon to meet up with the other group coming from the stake dock. Around 12:30 we will all head to Fish Tales restaurant at Wolf Creek Marina. It's about a 14 mile run from the dam up to Wolf Creek Marina.
Once you leave the main lake and enter Wolf Creek it gets a little tight and we have to take a hard right soon after entering the creek so let's try to keep it under 50 mph once we leave the main lake for the short run in Wolf Creek.
Could you please post here if you plan on going and how many you will have in your boat. So far the weather looks clear for the Friday fun run so I hope to see you there.

We're in for 4 maybe 6. I'll clear that up as our group gets here. This might be the only good run this year as the weather is not looking good for Saturday.
