Default Deck Temp Vs Deck Color

I am thinking of painting a white boat a silvery metallic light grey sort of a silver mercedes color. My question is how much hotter is that to stand on than white. Anyone have a silver boat?

all white but I have some silver in my cockpit and can tell the difference. It's new though so I'm not much real world help.
I did measure the difference between white and black down here in our Fla sun after a local TV crew did the same and said their was none. I used an infared temp gun and in direct sun light the white was right at 100* and the black was 148*!
Down here if you pick up an adjustable wrench after laying it in the sun you will have a perfect mirror image of the word "crescent" permanently burned into your hand

Do you think that news guy was laughed at when he went places after that report?

The rear deck of my old boat had red, blue, white, & silver on it. I remember the red was about 25 degrees warmer, & the blue was warmer then that. I do not remember if there was much difference between the white and silver.
