I believe this is a Cary 26' E. A friend had one back in the mid 70's that he raced with twin small blocks & Volvo IO's. This OB one was for sale up in New Jersey a few years ago. For a 26' hull HOT KNOTS was a good ruff water boat for it's size with IO's.

The master may have spoken, but has he ever driven a Harley up his front steps and into his living room?

The 175's aren't near enough power but if in good condition are popular motors for the fish bote crowd. Do like I've done with my O/B projects and unload the motors and have near nothing in hull/trailer.
That way you'd only have $60 - $65K in a project worth $15 when you're done
I should do that for a living.
