What power steering fluid should I use on a 502 mercruiser system? Can I use automotive power steering fluid? Thanks

I use the Mercury High Performance fluid. I could climb into the boat and get you the number if you are interested.

ATF or any PS fluid will work fine.

I've been using Valvoline SynPower. Readily available at most auto parts stores.

if running full hyd they recommend GM non-foaming HP P/S fuild
